I had a hard time finding a viable vista folder icon so i had to tweak what I found so it would look right. Here is the finished product. There are two icons, one with shadow and one with out.

I should say though, if you want the windows original, install icofx and extract if from "%SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll" in vista.

Thank you.

I fell in love with the deviant-fella icon [link] which I use for my home folder and I wanted an empty one as an ordinary icon

Resized to 96x96 .png and looks great in Ubuntu

yes, cause i´ve seen it´s nearly the same and with the icons in imageres you can work, too
